The lost sheep

Luke 15:1-7, “When the tax collectors and “sinners” were gathering around Jesus, he told them this parable: “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?

And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. He then told them that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous who do not need to repent”.

Jesus Christ in this parable painted a beautiful picture of God’s grace in His desire to see the lost return to Him.
