Happy Easter to our Muslim brothers and sisters. It is true that Easter has nothing to do practically with Islam because Muslims do not believe in the crucifixion or resurrection of Jesus Christ. They believe that Jesus was simply raised up by Allah and that He will return someday as Messiah. But the truth is contrary to that. The truth is that Jesus was crucified, persecuted and tortured. Jesus endured severe pain for us.
He could simply avoid that suffering, he could even punish those who were persecuting Him but he didn´t do so because He wanted to fulfill the prophecies, he wanted to make us free of sin and He wanted to reestablish our relation with Lord, which He did. Jesus dies for us and was resurrected 3 days later. Hallelujah; our Lord overcame the death. That is what Easter really means. We celebrate Easter to celebrate the victory of our Lord over death, and the victory over sin.
Today, on this very special day we invite Muslims to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Muslims should not only follow Islam because of culture or tradition but they must research and investigate the truth through different resources such as internet, and choose the right path. The truth shall set them free and they will become part of the eternal life where Jesus will remain with them forever. May God bless you all. Happy Easter friends.
